2013 Beginning Beekeeper Course

The beginner beekeeper course is Saturday, March 23th, from 8am to 2:45pm as Clinch River Community School at 160 Maverick Circle, Clinton, TN 37716 (behind Anderson County High School). Topics covered include: Getting Bees & How to Get Started, The Biology and Natural History of the Honeybee, Beekeepers Calendar, Equipment and Apiary Location, Extracting Honey.

2013 Field Day

The 2013 Field Day will be Saturday, April 13 @ Erin Meadow Herb Farm, 132 England Lane, Clinton, TN. Reserve your spot by email to acbabees@comcast.net!

Drawing for Beginning  Beekeeper Starter Kits!

New beekeepers will be eligible to enter in a drawing for one of three beginning beekeeper starter kits as part of the Tennessee Beekeepers Hive Grant Program!*

*To be eligible, must be a new beekeeper, attend both the Beginning Beekeeper School and Field Day, and agree to the conditions of the hive grant program. It’s a great deal, just contact us for more info if you are interested.


Monthly Meeting

We meet every third Monday of the Month at 7pm (except July, December, and January) in the Clinton Community Center in downtown Clinton, TN. If you are in the Clinton, Oak Ridge area, or any surrounding area, come by to learn about beekeeping, honey bees, apiculture, etc.
